Hello, I’m Ilana Tomashpolsky

I was born on June 21, 2007 in Haifa, Israel.
My parents came to Israel in the 1990s from the Soviet Union, so thanks to them I know Russian very well. I also speak English well and of course Hebrew, which is my native language.

FROM A SMALL AGE I ENGAGED IN VARIOUS ARTS:

PIANO

I started learning to play the piano when I was 5 years old with an excellent teacher in vocal and music, Svetlana Kruglova, winner of the Golden Voice Prize. After that, I continued to study with the pianist of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Daniel Kruglov.

SINGING

From the age of 8 I have been singing in the “Bat Shir” Children’s Choir at the Haifa Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Tali Weizman. Our choir has participated in many performances throughout the country, as well as in the operas “Madame Butterfly”, “Tosca”, and “Balona”.

BALLET

I stated ballet classes since the age of 3.5 with a wonderful teacher and choreographer Valeria Yusin. We participated in various dancing competitions.

DRAWING

From 4 years old, I was taught by a talented and famous artist Tatyana Belokonenko. My works have received many awards from Israeli and international competitions.

GUITAR

Just recently, I began to learn to play the guitar. So far this is only accompaniment, but this is just the beginning.

MUSIC

When I have free time, I really like to compose music.

VIDEO CLIPS

From the age of 4, my parents have been filming children’s music videos with my participation. They are not professionals in cinema and video making, and began to do this to create congratulatory family films, but now we continue to shoot on various other topics.

ROLLERBLADES

Having been in winter Moscow, I learned to skate and decided to continue to study on my own on rollerblades. I wanted to learn skating myself, to make it a part of my creativity. I have neither a club nor a roller skating teacher, only YouTube and hard work. I believe that if we set a goal and systematically go to it, we will certainly succeed!

ANIMALS

I also really love animals! At the age of 5, I saw dolphins for the first time in my life and begged my parents to let me swim with them. My love for these animals began with this. For three years in a row we went to the Istanbul Dolphinarium, where I spent a week with dolphins and beluga whales. The trainers advised me very much to continue my contacts with animals, as I have a special connection with them and now I finally have a dog that I train.

WRITING

For the past few years, I have been participating in the All-Israeli Russian Language Olympiad. Thanks to this, several of my pretty stories were born.
